Dr. Kirby was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Biology (1997) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (1998) at Dalhousie University, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Dalhousie School of Dentistry (2002). Following dental school, Dr. Kirby completed a one-year surgical-based General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Kirby is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Nova Scotia Dental Association and the Atlantic Implant Study Club. He is the acting staff dentist for the Pauline Potter Health Centre at Northwoodcare Incorporated and currently serves as a member of the disciplinary committee for the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. A strong believer in continuing education and a comprehensive approach to dental care, Dr. Kirby will provide you and your family with the care you deserve.
Away from the office, Dr. Kirby enjoys surfing, skiing, coaching minor basketball and spending time with his wife and three children.
